Our Mission

It’s time to move beyond marching. Women’s March Sister Network is committed to taking the women’s march movement beyond marches and exercise true political power. WMSN provides opportunities for activists, volunteers and citizens to take political action to elect candidates who are aligned with the Women’s March Agenda. WMSN will endorse candidates from the White House to the State House and everything in between. Working through our network of Women’s March Sister Squads, women and allies can volunteer for political organizing activities, including phone banks, postcard writing parties, canvassing and more. Working at the National level WMSN will raise money to support a select group of candidates where our resources can make a difference.

OUR MISSION

On January 21, 2017, 5 million women and allies across the nation and the world took to the streets in women’s marches to protest what was perceived by many to be a sudden shift away from progress on issues facing our country and the values we hold dear. From women’s rights to health care to climate change to income equality and virtually every other significant issue we face, the women of America delivered their message loud and clear: we will not go back. The Women’s March Foundation has developed a Women’s March Agenda highlighting our bedrock beliefs regarding the issues of importance to our nation and community. From this day forward, we are committed to shining a light on these issues, advocating for policies and legislation aligned with the Women’s March Agenda, assessing where candidates for office stand on our Agenda and educating our supporters regarding the candidates’ positions.
